Job summary

Wayland Union Schools is seeking substitute teachers to support daily classroom instruction and maintain a positive learning environment. Guaranteed work for 143 days during the school year, with duties assigned by the administrator and EduStaff as the employing entity.

Candidates should hold an Associates Degree or 60 credit hours with preferred Michigan teaching certification or substitute permit eligibility. Strong collaboration, reliability, and punctuality are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Guaranteed Substitutes will report to their assigned building each morning; work as a teacher sub is the 1st priority.
• Establish a positive learning environment with highly effective instruction.
• Utilize technology to enhance instruction.
• Attendance is an essential job function.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by administrator
