Sylvania is seeking a dedicated Guaranteed Substitute Teacher for Wayland Union Schools in Michigan. This position requires an Associates Degree and a valid Michigan teaching certificate or the ability to obtain a substitute permit. Qualifications

• Associates Degree required with a minimum of 60 credit hours.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate preferred or Full-Year basic substitute teacher permit required.
• Effective communication skills.

• Dependable, punctual, with a positive work history.

Responsibilities

• Guaranteed Subs will report to their assigned building each morning.
• Work as a teacher sub is 1st priority.
• Establish a positive learning environment with highly effective instruction.
• Utilize technology to enhance instruction.
• Attendance is an essential job function.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by administration.

Terms of Employment
