Job summary

ECC is seeking a Quality Control Manager for immediate work in Guam. The role focuses on verifying compliance with quality requirements on construction projects per Company standards and contractual obligations.

You will lead training, manage testing programs, and ensure proper documentation and submittals while collaborating with Project Managers. Required eight years' QC experience on large projects, a Bachelor's in Engineering/Construction Management/Architecture, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Eight years of work experience in a position directly related to quality control on large construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or other closely related acceptable degree.
• Willingness to travel and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Take action to ensure work complies with contract specifications, building codes, practices and local standards.
• Promote and support the quality control program at project sites.
• Provide quality training for project staff and subcontractors; develop and deliver training content.
• Implement and monitor testing programs; evaluate results and document findings.
• Inspect and document receipt of materials for contract compliance.
• Oversee submittal processes and ensure timely client submissions.
• Author quality-related reports and daily client communications.
• Integrate the Three-Phase Control Process into project schedules; mentor QC staff.
