ECC is seeking a Health and Safety Manager for construction projects on Guam. The role ensures compliance with health and safety requirements per Company standards, regulations, and contracts, potentially overseeing loss prevention across multiple projects with subcontractors.

Responsibilities include implementing APP, promoting HSE programs, coordinating AHA, and delivering training to staff and subcontractors. Strong emphasis on documentation, inspections, and collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressive work experience in a position of responsibility for health and safety on large ($5 million or more) construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Health & Safety or related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation of Accident Prevention Plans (APP).
• Promote and support health and safety programs at project sites.
• Oversee Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) preparation and acceptance.
• Deliver health and safety training for Company staff, subcontractors, and relevant parties.
• Document health and safety related logs, records, and risk mitigation plans and ensure timely client communications.
