Job summary

OpenArt is seeking a Software Engineer to advance our AI storytelling and visual creation platform. You’ll work on agent-backed features, iterate on OpenArt Agent and Arena, and collaborate with product, design and GTM teams to turn market signals into valuable capabilities.

You’ll prune trade-offs between speed, quality and scale while shipping frontend work in React/Next.js. A strong emphasis on product sense and clear communication will be essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production software.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered agents or applications with real users.
• Familiarity with agent harness concepts: tool use, context/memory management, multi-step planning, or sub-agent orchestration.
• Strong data modeling and schema design skills for real product use cases.
• A strong AI-assisted coding practice using tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
• Product sense to make agent experiences trustworthy and delightful.
• Clear communication to explain agent behavior and trade-offs to non-engineers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and iteration of OpenArt Agent and related products.
• Build and evolve OpenArt Arena for exploring and evaluating generative models.
• Collaborate with product, design and GTM to turn market signals into capabilities.
• Evaluate video and image generation models for quality and real-world usefulness.
• Prototype and ship innovative projects inspired by new models and tech shifts.
• Deliver polished frontend experiences in React and Next.js end-to-end.
