Job description

Location: Remote (US) | Type: Contract (W-2, possible contract to hire) | Experience: Senior | Pay: $100-$170/hr

About the Role

We're hiring a hands-on GTM Engineer to get inside a client's CRM, data, and revenue workflows, figure out where AI can make a real difference, and then build what comes out of that diagnosis.

You'll join an AI solutions and talent firm that deploys engineers into client engagements across sales, marketing, and revenue operations. The work blends technical diagnosis, commercial judgment, and engineering. Depending on the engagement, you may also lead a small delivery team, and you'll advise on the firm's own internal GTM work as time allows.

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week W-2 contract with an initial one-month term. Continuation depends on client demand, with the possibility of contract to hire. Target start is October 31, 2026. If you've spent time watching AI pilots stall because nobody understood the sales process underneath them, this role is built for you.

What You'll Do
  • Lead technical diagnosis of client GTM systems, CRM data, and workflows, working directly with stakeholders to understand goals and recommend a practical path forward
  • Design and build AI-powered CRM workflows: lead qualification, sequences, playbook selection, and CRM data cleanup
  • Own execution of the builds that follow, with sound production AI and software engineering judgment
  • Explain options, tradeoffs, and progress to clients in plain language, and stand behind your recommendations
  • Use agentic development tools every day and pick up unfamiliar systems quickly
  • Support up to two diagnostic engagements at once (roughly 50% each when both are active)
  • Occasional travel for client kickoffs; otherwise fully remote
Qualifications
  • Deep experience integrating AI with at least one of HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics (depth in one is enough)
  • A track record of shipping AI-powered CRM workflows into production
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and the judgment to turn a diagnosis into something reliable
  • Daily, hands-on use of agentic development tools
  • Clear client communication and real ownership of technical decisions and deliverables
  • Strongly preferred: sales, GTM, or RevOps background, since you'll be improving workflows you should already understand
  • Strongly preferred: prior external client delivery experience (we can teach the delivery approach to the right person)
Why Join Us

You'll work with a small, senior team that treats AI as a tool for better outcomes, not a demo. Engineers here are trusted to own the problem from diagnosis to working build, and to tell clients the truth about what will and won't work.

If you understand both the CRM and the revenue motion behind it, and you'd rather build than write slide decks about building, this is a good place to do it.
