About the Opportunity
We are currently hiring for a GTM Engineer position with one of our clients in Chicago, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals interested in Go-To-Market engineering, sales technology, automation, data integration, and business systems.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills , with an interest in building systems and workflows that support sales, marketing, revenue operations, and business growth.
Qualified new graduates with relevant coursework, internships, academic projects, or hands‑on experience in software development, data engineering, automation, or business systems are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain technical solutions that support go-to-market, sales, marketing, and revenue operations teams.
- Develop and automate workflows to improve lead generation, prospecting, enrichment, routing, and reporting processes.
- Integrate CRM, marketing, sales, and third‑party platforms using APIs and automation tools.
- Work with business and revenue teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop scripts and automation using Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
- Work with APIs, webhooks, databases, and data pipelines to connect business systems.
- Support data enrichment, cleansing, validation, and synchronization across platforms.
- Build dashboards, reports, and analytical workflows to support go-to-market decision‑making.
- Troubleshoot integration, automation, and data‑related issues.
- Document workflows, integrations, technical processes, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and technology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic understanding of software development, APIs, databases, and data structures.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with structured and unstructured data.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and third‑party integrations.
- Experience with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, Workato, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with data enrichment and GTM tools such as Apollo, Clay, ZoomInfo, Outreach, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Git/GitHub and software development workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to sales operations, marketing operations, revenue operations, or business systems.
- Experience building automation, data pipelines, internal tools, or workflow solutions through academic or personal projects.
New Graduate Consideration
Qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply , particularly candidates with relevant technical degrees and hands‑on experience through internships, academic projects, coding projects, automation projects, or technical coursework.
Candidates do not necessarily need prior experience specifically titled "GTM Engineer." Experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Automation Engineering, Business Systems, Sales Operations Technology, or Revenue Operations Technology may also be relevant.
Candidates with previous experience building integrations, automating workflows, working with APIs, or supporting CRM and revenue systems will be strongly considered.
