Location: New York City – 5 days per week in office
Experience: 2+ years
Reports to: Head of Go-to-Market
We’ve partnered with a rapidly growing New York-based healthcare technology company that is building technology to tackle some of the most complex operational challenges within the US healthcare system.
The business has had an exceptional year, with strong commercial momentum and significant progress on financing putting them in a position to invest heavily in their next stage of growth.
They are currently a team of around 25 people, with plans to grow substantially as they build out the commercial organisation and turn early traction into a repeatable GTM engine.
This isn’t a traditional healthcare sales organisation. The team is highly technical, comfortable working closely with product and engineering, and focused on understanding complex customer problems rather than simply running a standard sales playbook.
As part of that growth, we’re helping them hire an early-career GTM generalist who will work directly with the Head of GTM and have significant exposure to the founders and wider leadership team.
This is a broad, prospect-facing GTM position for someone with 2+ years of experience who wants significantly more ownership than they would typically get at this stage of their career.
It is deliberately not a traditional SDR or BDR role.
You’ll work across different parts of the commercial process, helping the company understand prospective customers, navigate the complexity of the healthcare system, communicate a highly technical product effectively, and ultimately help build the foundations of a scalable GTM function.
The scope can flex around the person. They’re looking for smart, ambitious generalists who are comfortable learning quickly rather than someone who has spent their career operating within one narrowly defined sales function.
You’ll ideally have:
You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be someone who actively enjoys technology and isn't intimidated by getting into the technical details of how a product works.
The timing is particularly interesting.
The company has established meaningful momentum and is now moving from an early‑stage commercial organisation towards building a genuine GTM engine. The team is expected to grow significantly, including senior hires over time, creating considerable opportunity for someone joining earlier in their career to develop alongside the business.
You’ll have direct exposure to the Head of GTM, founders and technical leadership, while getting hands‑on experience across far more of the commercial function than you would in a conventional junior sales position.
For someone who wants to build a career at the intersection of healthcare, AI, technology and commercial strategy, this is an opportunity to join while there is still significant scope to influence how the GTM organisation is built.
Base salary: $100,000–$145,000, with flexibility depending on experience.
Location: New York City.
