Job summary

Granola is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to lead GTM analytics, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, GTM Ops and Finance to turn critical questions into trusted metrics and actionable insights.

The role is hands-on, building dbt models and dashboards while collaborating with Engineering on data infrastructure to scale our GTM engine. Strong SQL, data modeling, and BI tooling are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in GTM analytics, BI, analytics engineering or similar roles.
• Experience supporting GTM teams at high-growth SaaS companies; strong SaaS metrics across acquisition, pipeline, conversion, revenue and retention.
• Expert SQL skills and hands-on experience building and scaling production data models in dbt.
• Experience designing clean, scalable data models across CRM, billing, product usage and other systems.
• Expertise in building intuitive dashboards and self-service reporting in modern BI tools such as Omni, Looker or Tableau.
• A track record of tackling ambiguous business questions through to structured analysis, clear conclusions and recommended actions.

Responsibilities

• Turn important business questions into actionable analysis.
• Develop analysis across the customer lifecycle, including acquisition, pipeline, conversion, revenue, expansion, retention and customer health.
• Build dashboards that help teams make decisions.
• Build data models that reflect how Granola operates and improve our dbt modeling layer.
• Create trusted definitions for our core metrics and codify them in data models.
• Partner with Engineering on our data foundation to ensure reliable and accessible data.
