Job summary

Motive is seeking a GTM Engineer to define and own practical AI-powered workflows for the Deal Desk, partnering with multiple teams to identify high-value use cases, prototype solutions, and launch secure production tools.

You will manage the full lifecycle from prototyping to production, including beta testing with end users and ongoing maintenance for internal AI tools that support GTM and Sales partners.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on Deal Desk or RevOps experience.
• Experience solving business challenges with tooling, building and deploying internal tools, automations, data products, or AI-enabled workflows in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on CPQ and CLM platform experience.
• Strong understanding of AI fundamentals: context windows, token usage, compute costs, chunking, performance benchmarks.
• Understanding of API usage, rate limits, and aggregating data from multiple sources.
• Proficiency in scripting, SQL/SOQL, and Python fundamentals.
• Experience with foundational models (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude) via web and API.
• Familiarity with agentic landscape (Orchestration layers, Agent2Agent, Salesforce-native platforms).
• Ability to build agents/workflows and UI components (Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Identify Deal Desk bottlenecks to automate for stakeholders.
• Design robust human-in-the-loop validation, audit trails, and fallback rules.
• Own prototyping, production scaling, testing, and maintenance of internal AI tools.
• Build agents/workflows using Glean, Salesforce (Agentforce/ClaudeForce) and n8n; front-end apps with Retool/Cursor/React.
• Integrate enterprise data and secure APIs; craft prompts for models like Gemini/ChatGPT/Claude/Perplexity.
• Ensure UX-friendly tools for non-technical business users.
• Manage costs by balancing model performance with token usage.
• Create and maintain documentation; train end-users.
