Job summary

Avalara, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of GTM Strategy & AI Automation to lead enterprise-wide automation and AI enablement for go-to-market functions. The role focuses on modernizing workflows, improving sales productivity, and aligning with enterprise standards.

You will partner with Sales, Partner, RevOps, IT, Architecture, and Security to deliver scalable automation while ensuring security, compliance, and data integrity across Avalara’s platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Revenue Operations, GTM Strategy, Sales or Partner Operations.
• 5+ years leading automation or GTM transformation programs at scale.
• Experience designing automated workflows and AI-enabled processes in B2B SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic GTM workflow modernization and automation across Sales, Partner, and RevOps.
• Architect scalable, friction-free workflows and governance aligned with IT standards.
• Lead enterprise-ready automations using platforms like n8n, Glean, and Custom GPTs.
• Translate business goals into automation requirements for IT and data teams.
