Job summary

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is seeking a Lead GSRP Teacher to plan and deliver daily lessons for 4-year-olds within a Michigan state-funded Pre-K framework. You will assess progress, plan activities, and work with staff to provide high-quality instruction.

You will develop Individual Development Plans, lead parent-teacher conferences, ensure compliance with program standards and licensing, and participate in ongoing professional development to support classroom excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is required.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating lesson plans is preferred.
• Must meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children.The GSRP Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the GSRP grant.

As a Lead GSRP Teacher, you’ll:
