The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre‑K program for 4‑year‑old children. The GSRP Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the GSRP grant.

As a Lead GSRP Teacher, you’ll:

• Plan and implement daily lessons using the approved GSRP curriculum
• Conduct child observations and assessments using approved tools
• Collaborate with the associate teacher and classroom team to ensure high‑quality instruction and classroom management
• Develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for each child and lead parent‑teacher conferences
• Ensure compliance with GSRP standards, licensing rules, and program quality expectations
• Participate in required professional development and coaching
• Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners
