Job summary

Pinkerton seeks a GSOC Security Support Operator to monitor alarms, CCTV, and access control for a high-priority client portfolio. You will centrally dispatch responses and support day-to-day GSOC operations, ensuring swift investigations and clear reporting.

The role requires handling confidential information, working in a fast-paced, 24x7 environment, and effective communication with employees, vendors, and law enforcement. Evening/weekend shift capability is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus two years in security operations or similar 24x7 ops center.
• Knowledge of CCTV and physical access control systems.
• Able to handle highly confidential information and work under deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; effective team member.
• Able to interact across all levels and diverse cultures.

Responsibilities

• Represent Pinkerton’s values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Follow SOPs to respond to alarms and investigate root causes.
• Respond to alarms in a timely manner per SOPs.
• Produce and disseminate security reports and alerts.
• Handle emergency and non-emergency calls from employees, vendors, and others.
• Review CCTV to investigate alarms and security events.
• Coordinate responses with internal/external teams.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and vendors.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
