Job summary

ALVEST EQUIPMENT SERVICES (AES) is seeking a GSE mechanic to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and HVAC systems on ground support equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance and document repairs using MIS, while adhering to OSHA and EPA safety standards. The role requires 1–4 years in relevant mechanical fields, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Tools are required, and candidates must be 18+ with a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years' experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or HVAC systems.
• Diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair background.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and possess a valid driver's license.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• English language proficiency.

ADDITIONAL INCENTIVES

AS A GSE MECHANIC

You’ll maintain and repair various ground support equipment (GSE), including tow tractors, belt loaders, pushback tractors, deicers, and more. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems and ensure proper documentation, safety, and quality standards are met.
