Job summary

ALVEST Equipment Services is seeking a GSE Mechanic to diagnose and repair a range of ground support equipment, including diesel and heavy machinery, at the Tampa International Airport in Tampa, FL. You will perform preventative maintenance, document repairs in MIS, and follow OSHA/EPA standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–4 years in mechanical or hydraulic systems, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years' experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or HVAC systems.
• Diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair background.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and possess a valid driver's license.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

ADDITIONAL INCENTIVES

AS A GSE MECHANIC

You'll maintain and repair various ground support equipment (GSE), including tow tractors, belt loaders, pushback tractors, deicers, and more. You'll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems and ensure proper documentation, safety, and quality standards are met. Position is based at the Tampa International Airport in Tampa, FL.
