Job summary

Alvest Equipment Services (AES) is seeking a GSE mechanic to maintain and repair ground support equipment such as tow tractors, belt loaders, and deicers. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems, perform preventative maintenance, and document work in MIS while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–4 years of hands-on repair experience, diesel/auto/heavy equipment background, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years' experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or HVAC systems.
• Diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair background.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and possess a valid driver's license.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

ADDITIONAL INCENTIVES

AS A GSE MECHANIC

You’ll maintain and repair various ground support equipment (GSE), including tow tractors, belt loaders, pushback tractors, deicers, and more. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems and ensure proper documentation, safety, and quality standards are met.
