Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Worker to support GSE mechanics in repairing, maintaining, and testing diverse ground support gear. The role involves disassembly, cleaning, corrosion control, and reassembly, with certifications needed to operate forklifts, tow tractors, and client equipment.

The candidate must have at least 2 years on automotive/mobile equipment, read maintenance publications/drawings, hold a valid driver's license, be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret maintenance publications and drawings.
• At least 2 years' experience on Automotive/Mobile equipment.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must lift 40 lbs.
• Must be able to work on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Ground Support Equipment Mechanic in repair and maintenance of GSE and related gear.
• Disassemble, clean, corrosion control and reassemble equipment as needed.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, tests and operation.
• Operate GSE after obtaining required certifications and licensing.
