Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Worker to support the Lemoore, CA location. You will perform maintenance, inspections, testing, and basic repairs on ground support equipment to ensure aircraft operations run smoothly.

The role requires a strong safety mindset, ability to lift 50 pounds, a valid driver’s license, and the capacity to obtain government security clearances. Benefits include comprehensive health and retirement plans and paid time off.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
U.S. Citizen.
2 years of recent experience on Automotive/Mobile Equipment or equivalent training.
Lift 50 pounds.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass and maintain a Security/SCI clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC.
Meet base access security requirements.
Pre-employment drug screening.
Ability to pass a government background check.
Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE; inspect, test, and operate GSE to determine serviceability and operation.
Service equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air; disassemble and reassemble components.
Maintain vehicle records and provide dispatch service for GSE to support aircraft maintenance.
Follow safety, quality, and environmental requirements; uphold housekeeping and tool control.
