Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred with college-level courses in mechanical engineering, business administration, transportation management, and business management).
• Five years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair in industrial vehicle operations.
• Two years in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs continually.
• Must pass a drug test and a federal background check.
• Must have own tools.

Responsibilities

• Directs a preventive maintenance program to minimize cost and maximize use of equipment.
• Maintains detailed records of all fleet vehicles and tracks fleet expenses.
• administers testing and inspection program to determine quality and compliance with specifications.
• Directs a quantity and quality control program to maintain satisfactory levels of work performance.
• Plans, organizes, and directs the work to meet objectives with efficient use of personnel and facilities.
