Job summary

Vertiv seeks an Application Engineer - GSA Thermal Management to support GSA account teams with technical solutions, analysis, and proposals for customer projects. You will translate customer needs into compliant bids and collaborate with Offering Management and Design teams.

You will engage with customers and consulting engineers to share knowledge about Vertiv products, analyze specifications, and help ensure our solutions meet design intent and performance expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business, or related field.
2–4 years of industry technical experience.
Experience with electrical distribution systems and service environments is preferred.
Strong computer skills and ability to use templates and internet research.

Responsibilities

Manage a select list of GSA customer accounts and support account plans.
Analyze technical specifications to ensure Vertiv products meet design intent.
Provide technical responses including performance runs, energy analysis, and drawings.
Compile and review product submittals for bids and proposals.
Assist in technical proposal creation and feedback to product teams.
