Job summary

Responsibilities

• Balance assigned bank and ensure reconciliation of money received and disbursed during assigned shift.
• Perform check cashing services, debit and credit card transactions and ATM transactions.
• Redeem coupons, play tickets, coins, chips, and tokens for cash, assist the slot department in paying out large jackpots.
• Compute accurate exchange rates for foreign currency and change to U.S. currency.
• Provide a positive guest service experience and advise guests regarding events and facility information.
• Run check cashing software and input information in databases and other programs.
• Provide point information to players club members.
• Participate in ongoing players club promotions, handing out cash, gifts, or other incentives.
• Follow gaming laws and regulations as well as organizational controls, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records and reports.
• Inform manager regarding guest disputes and unusual activity.
• Operate basic machinery such as jet sorters, bill counters and calculators.
• Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with Nugget team and guests.
• Recognize team members who are going “above and beyond.”
• Follow Nugget policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform work safely and maintain a safe environment for all.
• Report unsafe conditions promptly to Security and Management.
• Maintain a positive professional image for Nugget.
• Regular predictable attendance is required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION LEVEL:

EXPERIENCE:
