Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Manager, Growth[x] Data & AI Engineer to lead the data and AI foundation powering Growth[x], an AI-enabled end-to-end growth pipeline. You will orchestrate data pipelines, cortex development, and governance across enterprise systems while guiding a small, high-impact team.

The role demands deep architecture experience, hands-on leadership, and strong communication with Growth leadership, IT security, and platform teams. A active TS/SCI readiness is preferred.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in data/AI, solution architecture, or digital transformation, with 5+ years leading technical teams.
• ownership of an enterprise AI or analytics platform from architecture through adoption.
• Strong working knowledge of agentic AI systems: prompt engineering, retrieval/knowledge graphs, evaluation, and productionization patterns.
• Experience navigating shared infrastructure models and centrally managed data platforms.
• Collaboration with CIO-office or enterprise IT governance in a consumer/integrator capacity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to liaise with executives and engineers.
• US citizenship; willingness to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end Growth[x] data and AI workflow on Peraton platform.
• Lead data pipelines, cortexes, integrations, and governance at enterprise scale.
• Design cortexes, ontology, and knowledge graphs powering Growth[x].
• Ensure data quality and secure data access for AI outputs.
• Translate growth processes into data packages, dashboards, and workflows.
• Productize playbooks into reusable skills with clear inputs/outputs.
• Build training curricula and enablement materials for capture and proposal teams.
• Lead and mentor a small high-leverage team; manage stakeholder expectations.
