Job summary

Publicis Groupe is seeking a Growth Planning VP to lead the Media Strategy and Insights process for assigned clients. This role requires building strong client relationships, guiding a strategy team, and uncovering growth through qualitative and quantitative research from a media perspective.

The Growth Planning team collaborates across 70+ markets, delivering innovative, data-driven marketing solutions and ensuring alignment with brand objectives and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sociology, or consumer insights.
• 10+ years in media planning/strategy with progressive responsibility.
• 7+ years of management experience.
• Ability to strategically plan campaigns to align with clients' strategic goals and KPIs.
• Pitch experience with proven track record.
• Experience across all media types (national, local, digital, direct, programmatic, shopper, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current media industry news and brand business with a focus on upstream initiatives.
• Facilitate research that derives valuable insights into the client's business.
• Ensure the team delivers sound strategic media recommendations based on brand objectives.
• Drive Innovation and Thought Leadership to drive modern marketing solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with analytics and research teams to identify learnings and support investments.
• Elevate strategic thinking across the portfolio and set learning agenda elements.
• Translate strategies into audience recommendations/plans and deliver them.
• Analyze client audience strategies and develop business cases with internal teams.
• Facilitate internal and client workshops and brainstorms to drive outcomes.
• Provide vision, direction, and support to team members.
• Demonstrate deep technical understanding and proactive problem solving.
