Job summary

McKesson is seeking a strategic Director, Strategy – Ontada to build and support business cases, driving growth initiatives in partnership with the Chief Growth Officer. You will work across Ontada and McKesson to craft rationale, model financials, and present to senior leadership.

You will lead cross-functional teams, influence ophthalmology and multi-specialty programs, and shape the strategic plan, focusing on value creation and measurable outcomes. Travel 5-10% may apply.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 4-year bachelor’s degree in healthcare/business or related field or equivalent experience
• MBA or Advanced Degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, healthcare data, operations, business development, M&A, or partnerships focused roles in the healthcare industry
• Strong financial modeling and cross-functional leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Guide the execution of Ontada’s ophthalmology and multi-specialty programs, working cross functionally to drive accountability, measure success and drive an impact.
• Support inorganic initiatives (partnerships, M&A) in close alignment with the VP, Strategy and Chief Growth Officer.
• Build and inform business cases with specific focus on crafting the strategic rational, leading financial modeling and defining clear governance mechanisms that enable success.
• Build business case for key organic initiatives and programs, working across Ontada and McKesson to inform the strategic rationale, model financials, make a recommendation and present to senior leadership
