OpenArt is hiring a Product Data Scientist focused on growth and retention. You will partner with PMs and engineers to ship data‑driven product changes, rely on rigorous A/B testing, and provide sharp behavioral insights to improve activation, monetization, and retention.

You will work across signup, onboarding, activation, paywall/pricing, feature adoption, and retention loops, collaborating with Product, Design, Engineering, and Growth teams.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in data science or analytics supporting product, growth, or lifecycle teams.
• Solid SQL and Python skills for end‑to‑end data work.
• Solid statistical foundation for hypothesis testing and inference.
• Strong product intuition and insight generation.
• Excellent communication to tell a data story to PMs, engineers, and execs.
• High ownership and comfort with ambiguity in a fast‑moving startup

Responsabilités

• Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and other causal experiments across signup, onboarding, activation, monetization, and retention.
• Define test sizing, minimum detectable effect, run duration, primary/secondary metrics, and readouts.
• Debug and resolve tricky test issues like sample ratio mismatch and multiple comparisons.
• Build and evolve the experimentation practice with playbooks and post‑launch validation.
• Perform deep‑dive analyses on the growth funnel from signup to retention and monetization.
• Translate analyses into crisp product recommendations for PMs and engineers.
• Define and own key product metrics and build dashboards that leaders trust.
