Job summary

Polymarket is seeking a Senior Data Scientist/Analyst to partner with the product team and own product insights end-to-end. You will define success metrics, design experiments, and translate results into actionable product direction in a fast-moving environment.

You'll combine strong product instincts with SQL expertise and rigorous experimentation to drive decisions that impact trading and user behavior.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product analytics or data science for consumer or trading products.
• Expert SQL and ability to derive defensible answers from raw data.
• Strong experimentation experience with production AB tests.
• Excellent communication to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define the metrics that determine whether a feature worked and state findings clearly.
• Design, instrument, and read AB tests end-to-end with sample size and guardrails.
• Build funnel and behavioral analyses explaining user journeys.
• Turn findings into product direction and actionable recommendations.
• Own event tracking specifications and ensure correct instrumentation.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Document analyses clearly for the team to reuse.
