Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Build For Growth Process Engineer I to improve plant operations and support process-control applications across cement plants in North America. The role is part of the Amrize US Build4Growth Program, a 14-month development track blending online learning, on-site sessions, and hands-on projects.

Education required is a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, with 0–3 years of experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
0–3 years of work experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
Ability to follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

Analyze plant operations and recommend process improvements with cost/benefit analysis.
Develop process control automation and computer applications for process control.
Prepare computer reports on operating efficiencies and failure investigations.
Run tests on plant systems to determine equipment efficiencies.
Assist management in maintaining environmental and quality performance.
Train shift supervisors for SAP reporting and TIS.
Support new system implementations (e.g., TIS).
Participate in ISO audits and month-end reporting activities.
Advocate health, safety, and environmental policies across sites.
