Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Build For Growth Electrical Engineer I to contribute to electrical design and development for cement plant equipment. The role includes learning through a 14‑month program, safety-focused responsibilities, and collaboration with contractors on capital projects.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and entry-level experience (0–3 years). PLC programming and instrumentation knowledge are a plus, with a competitive salary and benefits package

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Entry level (0–3 years) experience.
Knowledge of PLC programming and process control systems preferred (CTI, PLC-5, SLC 500).
Experience with instrumentation, motors, starters and VFDs is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical equipment per plant standards.
Coordinate electrical design and development for new equipment and modifications.
Manage electrical and mechanical projects and PM programs.
Prepare cost estimates and justify capital plan.
Interface with contractors and obtain quotes and field direction.
Use SAP to purchase parts and manage capital projects.
