Job summary

Canva is seeking a Growth Partnerships Manager, Startups for a 7-month fixed-term contract in San Francisco. You will own Canva for Startups end-to-end, building a scalable program with accelerators and VCs, while closing deals with Banks & Fintechs, Telcos and OEMs.

This role blends program leadership with hands-on deal-making in a fast-moving startup ecosystem within Canva’s GTM Partnerships. You’ll drive activation, performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with Product,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in partnerships, business development, growth, or ecosystem roles within a startup or consumer/B2B tech environment.
• Deep understanding of the startup ecosystem — founders, VCs, accelerators and communities.
• Proven deal ownership: sourced opportunities, built strategy and closed distribution or strategic deals.
• Strong cross-functional operator who can align Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance and teams.
• Able to build and run programs at scale with measurable goals and cadence.
• Comfortable moving from 0→1 with scrappy, self-directed execution.
• Bonus: founder, VC/accelerator background or built a startup/ecosystem program.

Responsibilities

• Run Canva for Startups end to end across the startup ecosystem with accelerators and VCs.
• Own program mechanics from sign-up to activation, including offers, verification, onboarding and partner experiences.
• Track program performance across lifecycle; use data to guide investments.
• Be a visible Canva ambassador in the startup ecosystem with events and partnerships.
• Source, structure, negotiate and launch distribution partnerships across Banks & Fintechs, Telcos and OEMs.
• Own channel outcomes with targets, cadence and revenue linkage.
• Ship partner launches by coordinating with Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Growth and Strategy.
