Job summary

Kenco Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick and pack orders, print labels, weigh, measure, and inspect products to meet shipping requirements. You will record information, affix labels, and ensure items are accurate and undamaged for outbound shipments.

The role may involve forklift or order picker operation, inventory/cycle counting, and maintaining a clean, inspection-ready work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Operate forklift or order picker if required.
• Pack orders for shipment and print/apply labels.
• Record order information on specified forms and records; attach shipping labels.
• Report missing items or variances to supervisor.
• Inspect containers and packing to meet specifications.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and ensure inspection readiness.
