Job summary

Kenco Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Associate to pick, pack, label, and inspect products for shipping. You will operate equipment as needed and maintain accurate records according to procedures.

The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates should be prepared for a drug screen and background check as part of the process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug Screen.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product are loaded.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• May operate a forklift or order picker for picking orders.
• Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets.
• Mark and label shipping boxes per regulations.
• Report missing items or quality variances to supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to meet packing specs.
• Perform quality inspections per SOPs.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Communicate incidents promptly.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
