Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Store Area Supervisor in Brunswick, ME to oversee daily operations and merchandising in assigned areas. You will ensure smooth freight flow and deliver exceptional customer experiences under a Team Leader guidance.

This role develops future OSJL leaders; apply with a background in retail, strong customer service, and willingness to grow into leadership positions. Friday–Sunday work possible; benefits include various protections.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in retail environments.
• Experience in customer service, training, and merchandise handling preferred.
• Able to work nights and weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and foster an inclusive environment.
• Bridge customers with corporate customer service for resolutions.
• Create effective work schedules for the assigned area.
• Guide and support the team to complete tasks and stay motivated.
• Assist training and growth opportunities across all levels.
• Manage merchandise presentation and signage per guidelines.
• Verify pricing and handle shipments, transfers, and returns.
