Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join the Finance and Accounting Team in Boca Raton, FL. The role reports to the Controllership function and supports Financial Reporting and Accounting to deliver accurate information for sound financial decisions.

The successful candidate will handle vendor invoice reconciliation, monthly accruals, and ensure data integrity across the financial statements, while collaborating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4 years of progressive general accounting and/or payables management experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills is essential.
• Multi company experience preferred.
• Strong ability to adapt to Accounting S/W packages.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation and coding oversight for vendor invoices, bank statements and credit card receipts.
• Support in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly accrual and cash statements.
• Ensure integrity of transactions and data and it’s reflection on thecompany's financials.
• Perform detail accounting analysis & process related Journal Entries related to General Ledger Accounts.
• Ensure compliance with all deliverable due dates and timelines for payable and related transactions.
• Complete monthly/weekly account allocations and reconciliations.
• Other responsibilities such as recording general business transactions and special projects as assigned and modified at company’s discretion.
