Goodwin Recruiting is helping a growing hospitality and retail operator recruit a Real Estate Director in the tri-state area. The role leads market growth strategies, site selection, and deal negotiations across multiple brands to drive expansion.

The candidate will manage LOIs, lease negotiations, and portfolio reporting while partnering with executive leadership. A strong background in retail/franchise real estate is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 8–10 years of progressive commercial real estate experience with 5+ years in retail, restaurant, franchise, or multi-unit site selection.
• Strong understanding of lease structures, LOI negotiations, underwriting, and site selection.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute market growth strategies across brands and territories.
• Identify, source, and evaluate new sites through brokers, landlords, and direct outreach.
• Lead LOI development, negotiation, and execution for favorable deal economics.
