Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a strategic, industry-fluent Director, Client Development to lead growth, visibility, and market positioning for its Real Estate Industry platform. You will partner with Real Estate leadership and attorneys to drive revenue and deepen client relationships on a global scale.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in institutional real estate, credibility with REITs, managers, investors, and sponsors, and the ability to translate market insight into commercial opportunity.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience within the real estate industry.
Demonstrated involvement in the real estate industry with networks and associations.
Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams in a matrixed environment.
Knowledge of institutional real estate, investment lifecycle, and market drivers.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic client plans and targeting initiatives for priority clients.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing client development team.
Shape market positioning and drive go-to-market strategies for the Real Estate platform.
Represent Goodwin in client-facing meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Oversee budget alignment with growth objectives and ROI.
Partner with Marketing and PR to sharpen market narrative and increase visibility.
