Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Garland, Texas. The role supports the Property Manager, motivates Leasing Consultants, and helps manage leasing tasks, rent collection and tenant relations.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in property management and strong computer and communication skills. Responsibilities include leasing, application review, move-in audits, budgeting support, and customer service, with occasional weekend work and opportunities for advancement within

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-secondary preferred in business or property management.
• 1+ year of property management or real estate experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leasing tasks and conduct property tours.
• Collect rent and ensure revenue data is posted correctly.
• File evictions when applicable and know local laws.
• Review and approve applications and verify income.
• Audit move-ins and ensure leases and payments are complete.
• Maintain residents' current and scheduled billing accuracy.
• Prepare monthly reports in line with company guidelines.
• Assist with budgeting and coding; upload bills for approval.
• Resolve resident issues and escalate to the property manager as needed.
• Support property manager to meet occupancy and leasing goals.
• Host resident functions and maximize renewals; may work one weekend per month.
