Job summary

Engtal, a 100% employee-owned mechanical contractor, seeks a project engineer for design‑build work across healthcare, data centers, and commercial facilities in Denver. You’ll collaborate with Project Management and Sales while building skills in estimating, scheduling, BIM, and project delivery.

Requirements include a BS in Engineering or related field (Mechanical preferred); strong MS Office skills; exposure to JDE, Bluebeam, Smartsheet; and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Mechanical preferred).
• Strong MS Office skills; exposure to JDE, Bluebeam, Smartsheet.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Excellent communicator who thrives in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft proposals, contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Support estimating, takeoffs, vendor quotes, and bid packages.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor buyout, and jobsite quality.
• Track financials, labor forecasting, and billing.
• Drive closeout efforts (O&Ms, commissioning, as-builts, warranties).
• Build lasting relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
