We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer who enjoys teamwork on engineering projects for a national firm providing innovative solutions to its clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical engineering discussions and provide expert technical design support.
  • Assist in developing schematic designs, construction documents, and specifications aligned with project and client needs.
  • Drive the mechanical design process from concept development to construction documentation.
  • Design mechanical HVAC system layouts, including equipment sizing and selection.
  • Develop plumbing schematics, including air systems, fans, and ducting.
  • Review and validate design calculations, drawings, specifications, analyses, and cost estimates.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with engineers, architects, designers, clients, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of construction documents while maintaining cross-disciplinary coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD or Revit)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
