Job summary

AimHire is seeking a Building Engineer for two Class A office properties in the Denver Tech Center. This on-site role offers hands-on ownership in a collaborative, performance-driven environment.

You will operate and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems; work with pneumatic and DDC controls; review drawings; coordinate with vendors; and maintain thorough records while supporting team initiatives and tenant satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of building engineering or commercial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on with pneumatic and DDC HVAC systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, building plans, and schematics.
• Comfort with work order systems, documentation, and email.
• No degree required; HVAC training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Work hands-on with pneumatic and DDC controls, as well as cooling towers and RTUs.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Respond to tenant service requests promptly and professionally.
• Review construction drawings from a mechanical/plumbing standpoint.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors, including supervising after-hours work.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Support facility improvements and participate in weekly team meetings.
• Serve as first responder for after-hours issues and arrange coverage.
