Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Manitowoc, WI. The role focuses on improving production processes, increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, data-driven, and adept at solving complex manufacturing challenges while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 with excellent benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and project management abilities.
• ERP experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office are valued.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Demonstrated process control, project management, and statistical analysis expertise.
• Lead root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement tools.
• Plan, execute, and analyze process trials and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to implement process improvements.
• Support quality investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Lead projects focused on reducing costs, improving yields, and optimizing manufacturing performance.
• Train production personnel on new processes and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
