Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Must be licensed per state and industry requirements.
• Must understand and analyze commercial lines coverage, forms, procedures, and rating systems.
• Should have a good grasp of commercial lines underwriting and coverages.
• Professional designation is a plus; AMS360 proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients.
• Coordinate expirations with producers to obtain renewal or new business information; maintain the expiration log.
• Assist in marketing new and renewal business; prepare proposals and packets; maintain carrier data.
• Review new/renewal policies for accuracy and input transactions to generate invoices.
• Handle client inquiries by phone; refer to producers when needed.
• Maintain a suspense system to follow up on orders and overdue items.
• Contribute to special projects at management's request.
• Meet with clients to discuss and handle insurance needs; keep producers informed.
• Support cross-selling and account rounding across departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
