Job summary

Shepherd Insurance is seeking a Commercial Lines Marketing Specialist in Indiana to support insurance advisors and the account management team. You will help with new and renewal quotes, assist with risk assessment, and provide superior client service.

The role requires a positive attitude, licensing, and familiarity with MS Office and agency management systems. High school diploma or GED is required; college degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Strong understanding of commercial lines insurance coverages, forms, procedures, and policy rating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and agency/document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, prompt, and accurate service to clients.
• Assist insurance advisors with new business quoting and applications.
• Assist with renewal quoting and remarkets/rewrites.
• Support account management with risk assessment and appetite insights.
• Assist with cross-selling and account rounding.
• Receive calls from clients and refer to the advisor when necessary.
• Maintain a suspense system to follow up on orders and overdue items.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
