Job summary

FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Anchorage, AK to help lead our team, coach employees, and drive store performance across jewelry, electronics, tools, and more. You will partner with the Store Manager to support daily operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and develop team members while keeping costs and inventory in check.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and act as Manager on Duty.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve concerns.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives.
• Open and close the store, including cash handling.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support business objectives.
• Build product knowledge across merchandise categories.
