Job summary

Quality Management Group is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support a property team in Santa Ana, CA. You will assist in maintaining occupancy, administering compliance, marketing vacancies, processing applications, and supporting financial reporting.

You will collaborate with the Community Manager, handle resident communications, and ensure lease requirements and HUD/Tax Credit regulations are followed. This role requires discretion, reliability, and a proactive service mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in a role with comparable responsibilities.
• 1–2 years in a customer service environment.
• Knowledge of HUD and Tax Credit programs.
• Basic math principles; calculator use.
• Yardi property management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compliance and maintenance of property records and data in Yardi.
• Support marketing and vacancy advertising per plan.
• Maintain resident files and ensure timely notices and lease requirements are met.
• Assist in processing applications and certifications, and support annual re-certifications.
• Assist in preparing month-end reports and annual budget.
• Provide responsive customer service to residents and coordinate with internal departments.
