Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Director of Growth Operations to build and lead the operational backbone for Growth, spanning Partner Management, Proposal Management, Technical Writing, BD Analytics, and Pricing. This player-coach role reports to the SVP of Growth and collaborates with BD, Mission Architecture, Mission Innovation, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Legal.

The role enables BD and capture activities, scales processes, and drives repeatable operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operations, proposal management, or related BD support in aerospace/defense/space
• Demonstrated experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with pricing, price-to-win, and cross-functional Finance coordination
• Strong process design and program management with scaling ops in fast-growing org
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team across Partner Management, Proposal Management, Technical Writing, BD Analytics & Research, and Pricing.
• Own end-to-end proposal operations: schedules, compliance, resourcing, quality across concurrent pursuits.
• Lead Partner Management: identify, qualify, and manage strategic partnerships and teaming agreements.
• Oversee Pricing during stand-up with plan to scale as the org grows.
• Build and mature the BD Analytics & Research capability for market intelligence and pipeline reporting.
• Direct Proposal Management and Technical Writing to ensure compliant, high-quality content.
• Design scalable systems, tools, playbooks, CRM hygiene, templates, and reusable content libraries.
• Collaborate with BD, Mission Architecture, Mission Innovation, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Legal.
• Establish metrics and reporting to track team performance and proposal win rates.
• Mentor and grow direct reports as Growth scales.
• All other duties as assigned.
