Job summary

Muon Space seeks a Director of Growth Operations to build and lead the operational backbone of its Growth team in the Northern Virginia or San Jose region. You’ll manage Partner/Proposal Management, Technical Writing, BD Analytics and Pricing, reporting to the SVP of Growth and collaborating with BD, Mission Architecture, Marketing, Finance, Contracts, and Legal.

This player‑coach role requires scaling multidisciplinary teams, implementing scalable processes, and delivering repeatable operations

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operations, proposal management, or BD support in aerospace/defense/space.
• Experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Pricing or price-to-win experience with cross-functional Finance coordination.
• Strong process design and program management for scaling operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to juggle priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary Growth Operations team spanning Partner Management, Proposal Management, Technical Writing, BD Analytics & Research, and Pricing.
• Own end-to-end proposal operations — schedules, compliance, resourcing, and quality for multiple pursuits in partnership with capture leads.
• Identify, qualify, and manage strategic partnerships and teaming agreements to strengthen Muon Space’s position.
• Oversee Pricing during stand-up and eventual scaling as the org grows.
• Develop BD analytics, market intelligence, pipeline reporting to inform strategy.
• Direct Proposal Management and Technical Writing to ensure high-quality, compliant content.
• Design scalable systems, tools, playbooks, CRM hygiene, templates, and content libraries.
