Job summary

Luminary in New York is seeking a Business Operations Associate to shape how a fast-growing enterprise software company operates and scales. You will partner with senior leaders across finance, contracting, and sales to diagnose problems and implement improvements.

The role blends hands-on execution with system design, offering opportunities to automate processes, enhance CRM workflows, and deliver actionable reporting on pipeline and revenue.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in business operations, finance, or consulting.
• Experience in revenue or sales operations; CRM experience (HubSpot) preferred.
• Proven track record of owning projects end-to-end.
• Strong analytical skills and business judgment.
• Comfort working with spreadsheets and operational data.
• Ability to translate needs into implementable plans.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve core workflows across billing, contracting, vendor management, and sales operations.
• Lead cross-functional projects from diagnosis to implementation.
• Improve CRM data quality, reporting, and pipelines visibility.
• Evaluate documentation and data, resolve issues, and present recommendations.
• Coordinate customer due diligence and other commercial requirements.
• Develop analyses and reporting to surface trends and inform decisions.
• Identify opportunities to scale through systems, automation, and process design.
