Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a sous chef.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, and reviews.
• Stores food in designated areas following safety procedures.
• Maintains proper food handling, presentation, and serving temperatures.
• Keeps workstation and equipment clean and sanitary.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly manner.
• Explains daily menu items to associates and customers.
• Monitors peak production hours and service times.
• Keeps track of inventory and deliveries; notifies supervisor of shortages.
