Job summary

ABM in Marion, OH is seeking a Janitorial Project Manager to oversee day-to-day facilities operations, lead frontline teams, and ensure service quality in line with contract requirements. You will build strong client relationships, promote safety and continuous improvement, manage staffing and budgets, and coordinate special projects.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in facility, operations, or project management with 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong customer service, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Solid business acumen including budget oversight and cost control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to urgent client needs, including occasional evening/weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations at assigned facilities to meet contract requirements.
• Foster engagement, accountability, and teamwork among frontline employees and supervisors.
• Develop staffing plans, assist hiring/onboarding, and conduct evaluations with HR.
• Be the primary ABM contact for clients and maintain strong relationships with management teams.
• Ensure services meet or exceed terms, address feedback, and resolve complaints promptly.
• Promote additional services and identify opportunities to increase billable work.
• Oversee daily facility operations including janitorial, parking, and maintenance as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with ABM safety, quality programs, and processes.
• Conduct time studies and site inspections; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
